Fall of 69 was an interesting period. Almost a "mini" transition. TC is soon to be lost. The Work material is coming on line, and not always smoothly at first. Though there is 11-7/8-69, otherwise I don't have many shows high in the rotation from this period. Jan 2 is the next big one for me...Will have to revisit this one; thanks!

I agree, for me the first 6 months of 69 get way more rotation than the last 6. Definitely a 'mini-transition" period. 11/2 and 12/30 are probably the only other shows that I favor from that era. though I don't listen to 11/8 near as much as I should...Anyway my opinion is that the Dark Stars in those months evolved very rapidly, but the rest of the stuff played in Fall/winter 69 doesn't grab me all that much, except for the early versions of High Time. Plus I'm a sucker for Doin That Rag, which had been dropped by then. Though I also have a strong affinity for those late versions of The Eleven, the way they are slowed down and just sort of bop along in that bouncy way.
